How It Started — And Why
Konto 6 wasn’t founded as “another accounting firm.” The founder worked as a Director of Finance at a larger company and saw the problem: accounting was a department that reported numbers, not a partner that shaped them. The numbers were correct, but the strategy wasn’t happening. The director didn’t know which decisions made sense and which were just burning money.
He realized, sitting at that desk: “We need a partner who understands accounting, but also speaks to tax authorities and investors. Locally, this is rarely done well.”
That’s why Konto 6 was started in 2009 — to be that partner. Seven colleagues joined him, all having seen the same gap in their own industries. The first year was hard — few clients, significant investment in knowledge. The second year was exponential. By 2015, the model had proven itself.
Now, 15 years later, it’s not a startup with an idea anymore. It’s an operational system that has weathered three major recessions, two tax reforms, endless shifts in how directors think about financial strategy. Every time — the system worked.

Positioning — Where We Fit in the Solution Landscape

Instead of Small Agencies
What You Specifically Get With Konto 6
Where We Are — And Why It Matters
Imagine a chart with two axes: vertical Depth of Knowledge (from “basic” to “expert”), horizontal Accessibility/Flexibility (from “strict process” to “customized”).
Big Four is top-left: very high depth, but strict processes and lower accessibility. Small agency is bottom-right: flexible and accessible, but knowledge depth can be inconsistent. Konto 6 is top-right: Big Four-level knowledge depth, small-partner flexibility.
That’s the position we’ve deliberately chosen — not by accident, by design.
